We are trained and experienced in a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. We use these techniques to help diagnose problems and to treat problems endoscopically when appropriate. Services include:

Upper GI Endoscopy (EGD) - to help evaluate symptoms such as frequent heartburn/indigestion, difficulty swallowing, vomiting, and upper abdominal or chest pain

Esophageal Dilation - used to treat narrowing of the esophagus causing difficulty swallowing

Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography - to allow investigation of some types of abdominal pain, abnormal liver or pancreas enzymes, or abnormal other imaging studies such as an abnormal ultrasound or CT scan of the liver or pancreas

Flexible Sigmoidoscopy and Colonoscopy - to screen for colon cancer and evaluate symptoms such as frequent diarrhea or blood in stools

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) - to get detailed ultrasound assessment of the lesions involving the rectum, esophagus, stomach, duodenum, pancreas, liver, bile duct, or mediastinum (midchest area)

Capsule Endoscopy - a new technology to obtain video photographs of the small intestine by swallowing a special vitamin-sized capsule containing a tiny camera, transmitter, battery, and light source. The data and images are transmitted to a recording device worn on a belt

Esophageal Manometry and Esophageal pH monitoring - to help diagnose swallowing disorders, chest pain, or atypical GE reflux.
