Joseph M. Henderson, MD

Dr. Henderson is a native of Florida who graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, in 1982 and the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1986. After medical school, he moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where he completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. After his fellowship he was a clinical faculty member at UK for one year, then from 1992-1994, he was a clinical faculty member in the Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. In 1994 he moved to Indianapolis and joined Gastroenterology Associates. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is based at our Community Hospital East office.
